What we collect
Information you give us. When you complete the contact form, we collect the name, telephone number, email address, city, matter type and description you provide. Please provide only what is necessary to arrange a consultation. This form is not a secure channel for confidential detail.
Information collected automatically. Standard web server logs may record IP address, browser type, referring page and pages visited. If website analytics are in use, aggregate usage data may be collected for the purpose of improving the site.
Third-party embeds. This site embeds a Google Maps frame on the contact page and loads web fonts from Google Fonts. Those services may receive your IP address and set their own cookies under their own privacy policies.
How we use it
Solely to respond to your inquiry, to run a conflicts check, to arrange and conduct a consultation, and where you become a client, to provide legal services and meet the firm’s professional and record-keeping obligations. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising purposes.
Confidentiality: an important limitation
Information sent through this website before an attorney-client relationship exists may not be protected by the attorney-client privilege. Email and web forms are not secure channels. Please describe your matter in general terms only until an engagement has been confirmed in writing.
Once you become a client, your information is protected by the attorney-client privilege and by the duty of confidentiality under Business and Professions Code § 6068(e) and the California Rules of Professional Conduct.
Retention
Inquiry records are retained only as long as necessary for conflicts-checking and professional-obligation purposes. Client files are retained in accordance with the firm’s file retention policy and applicable State Bar guidance.
Disclosure
We disclose personal information only: to service providers who host this website or provide email services, under confidentiality obligations; where you direct us to; or where required by law, court order or the rules of professional conduct.
